Pheng Xat Lao ist die Nationalhymne der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Laos. Sie wurde 1941 von Dr. Thongdy Sounthonevichit (1905-1968) komponiert und 1947 als Hymne des Königreichs Laos angenommen. Der ursprüngliche Text der Hyme wurde 1975 nach der Proklamation der Demokratischen Volksrepublik Laos ersetzt.

For all time the Lao people have glorified their Fatherland,
United in heart, spirit and vigour as one.
